| Bake /Food Sales |
1) Now that your group has confirmed a location and date for your Bake/Food sale, you will need to go to the Dept of Public Safety/Fire Marshal's Office to obtain a Temporary Food Dealer's Permit (and/or Burn permit, if applicable). The office is located in the UH Police Dept Building (on Wheeler Street, past Cullen Street on the right) (713-743-0600). You will need to obtain the Temp Food Dealer's Permit a minimum of 5 business days prior to your event. You will need to take your Solicitation Permit and Confirmation Letter with you to obtain the Temp Food Dealer's Permit. Please contact our office before going over to obtain your permits. Fax or bring to our office a copy of the Food/Burn Permits you have obtained for your event.
(2)NOTE: Our office does not provide tables/chairs for locations outside of the UC or UC Satellite. You may bring your own or rent them from UH Plant Operations, 713-743-4948. Our office would be happy to assist you in making the initial contact with Plant Operations.
